OUR MISSION

Nopal is a luxury vegan leather brand rooted in sustainability.

This project explores how cactus-based materials can support premium design while remaining environmentally responsible.

PERSONAS

Three personas were created to capture the behaviors, values, and needs of Nopal’s target users. These personas informed decisions on messaging, visual direction, and product positioning while staying aligned with the brand’s sustainability mission.

TYPE TREATMENT

The square frame of the logo directly informed the selection of the Neighbor Black typeface.

Its strong, squared letterforms complement the logo’s structure, creating a cohesive and balanced visual system. The typeface also provides excellent readability and legibility across different scales, making it well-suited for both branding and editorial applications.

The Nopal logo is built around a stylized “N” and leaf form, representing both the brand name and its sustainable foundation. The mark balances structure and organic movement, reflecting a fusion of luxury and nature-inspired design.

To reach a broader audience, the Nopal brand system was developed across three style directions:

Luxury, Luxury-Casual, and Casual.This approach allows the brand to adapt to different lifestyles while maintaining a consistent sustainability message.

Combining luxury with a relaxed feel, this style uses green, brown, and dark red to create a warm and approachable aesthetic. Green reinforces vegan values while adding brightness and accessibility to the brand.
